In his book ’Ikonostas’, author deals with artistic and aesthetic dimension of icon. Fundament for this kind of investigation he finds in philosophical and theological conceptions, which phenomenon of icon understand as restrict line among visible and unvisible world, and takes it as material evidence for the existence of the other world and its value. The work arose in 1921-1922., but it became attainable in public in 1979., and since than a numerous translations and publications are appeared.
