The main intention of this work is to present ontological nature of early Hellenic philosophy. Here, author try to reinterpret a Presocratic philosophical tradition, which represents the beginning of philosophy . With such an tradition we become familiar only fragmentary and in an indirect way. Also, book contains a numerous excerpts taken and translated form Greek sources, and it may serve as an excellent study-reader.

Bogoljub Šijaković (Serbian Cyrillic: Богољуб Шијаковић) (born 1955, in Nikšić) is a Montenegrin-born Serb politician who served as the Serbian Minister of Religion.

He received his degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy and PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo in 1989.
He is a professor of philosophy at the Orthodox Theological Faculty in Belgrade.
From 2000 to 2001, he was Yugoslav Federal minister of religion.
On July 7, 2008, he was elected Serbian Minister of Religion.
